How to Link to a PDF with the Adobe Icon
Solution

To create links to PDF files and have the tiny Adobe icon to the left of the link, follow these steps:

  1. Upload all PDF files through the CMX Manage Files section (right click on a page in CMX and click on CMX Main Control Panel then click on the link: Manage Files)
  2. Click on the folder, PDF Files, on the right side. Then click on Browse on the left side and locate the PDF file(s) you wish to upload.
  3. Go to the page where you want to link to the PDFs and enable CMX.
  4. Right click on the red triangle at the top of the page (usually where the header is) and click on Edit Main Container.
  5. In the right column, click on PdfLink Template, and click on the Add button for as many links as you have. Click OK
  6. Left click on the red square above the PDF icon.
  7. Enter the path of the PDF file in the Link: field. For example: Files/FILENAME.pdf
  8. Enter the name of the file in the Tooltip: field. Click OK

The link should be set up now. Do the same for the rest of the PDFs.

Make sure to publish the site for the changes to propogate to the live site.
